On April 8, 2024, at 3:25 pm, the Adirondack Coast, more specifically Plattsburgh, NY, will be on the path of totality for one of nature’s greatest spectacles, the total solar eclipse – a literal once in a lifetime event! For nearly four minutes - one of the longest durations of any other stop in New York State - the moon will block out the sun and plunge us into darkness, a phenomenon that New York will not see again for decades.
To engage and energize our community for the extraordinary shared experience ahead, we are working closely with our community partners to deliver comprehensive information, valuable resources, and useful tools in anticipation of the upcoming path of totality. We encourage you to stay updated by revisiting this space regularly, as we will be continuously adding more information to enhance your journey.
And don't forget to reach out to us with any questions, eclipse events and more!
